  Band Description:
All professional, state of the art sound system and light show. A 1999 BPM & Mixer Top 100 DJ's in the world nominee. 25 years of experience DJing for Wedding Receptions, Proms, Semi-Formals, College & High School Dances, Nightclubs/Bars, Reunions, Anniversaries, Graduation Parties, Project Graduations, Corporate Functions, Birthday Parties, Private Parties, Outdoor Festivals, Raves and All Hours After Parties. DJ Liquid started spinning records in Southern California at house parties at the age of 14. Before moving East to New England at the age of 18, DJ Liquid spent the summer of 1986 in Glendale and Hollywood where he discovered what was then called 'High Energy' music, and is now called 'Techno or Electronic'. It was at that time that Techno started being heard in nightclubs in Southern California like Studio 'K' and Cloud 9 at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, and The Hollywood Paladium and Club Streamers in Hollywood, California. When Liquid found himself in New Hampshire, and the music several years behind the club scene back home in Southern California he went into hibernation. A short time later he moved to Maine and discovered that the music and club scene was no different than New Hampshire. In 1993 Liquid moved to Nashua, New Hampshire until moving back to Maine in 1997. During his 4-year stay in Nashua 'Techno/Electronic' music emerged in the club scene. After attending several nights at The Bahama Beach Club in Nashua, where Tommie Gunn produced a weekly event called "Boom", and booked world class DJ's, Liquid found his calling and came out of hibernation. After performing at all hours after parties friends dubbed him the name DJ 'Liquid'. Some say he is 'Liquid' for his smooth flow 'like liquid' of music during his incredible 4-hour sets. Now living in Maine he continues to amaze his audience and keep the dancefloor moving on a musical journey. He has proven to be one of the more versatile DJ's on the planet by pleasing and playing for his audience whatever tracks are going to make them move. Techno, Trance, Breakbeats, Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Disco, Funk, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Country, 80's, 50's, Latin, Swing, Polka, Jazz, Blues, and Slow Jams. With over 20,000 songs cataloged he has it all, and adapts to any type of event with precision & ease. His trance sets have been described as, "Uplifting", "Melodic", "Energized", and "Intense", and earned him a 1999 nomination in BPM & Mixer magazines top 100 dj's in the world. He explains that living and spinning in Maine musical tastes among the youth in New England are primarily Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, and some alternative rock. Among the 30 to 60 something's 80's, Classic Rock, 70’s Disco, and Country seems to stir things up on the dancefloor, and in the larger inner cities he delivers trance & breakbeats with unbelievable creativity. He always spins whatever the dancefloor needs by reading the crowd. He DJ'd at the 2004 Cinco De Mayo Dance Party at Bootleggers in Waterville from 9 pm 'till 1 am, sponsored by Corona Beer. He also DJ'd at the 10th Annual United Bikers Of Maine Bike & Trike Show & Blessing from 9 am 'till 2:00 pm at the Windsor Fairgrounds. All profits went to the Children's Hospital of Augusta, The Augusta Rotary Club provides a meal program, The Home For Little Wanderers, and The Waterville Muskie Center's Meals On Wheels program. Bootleggers of Waterville, Cargo Pro of Winslow, Scooter Cycles of Gardiner, and Al’s Pizza of Augusta sponsored the event, along with support from B98.5 FM. He also spun at the incredible after party from 9 pm 'till 1 am at Bootleggers in Waterville. On November 19th, he raised the roof at Massabesic High School in Maine for 1,200 students with an electrifying 3 hour set. On December 31, 2004, DJ Liquid rang in the New Year by delivering an unforgettable 4-hour set for 2,500 club-goers at Boom in Tampa Bay Florida. A few inches of snow didn't stop the masked Ramblers from showing up to their High School in Winthrop to witness Liquid behind the decks and to keep them dancing non-stop from 8 pm 'till 11 pm at their Masquerade Dance. He set things off at the Augusta Civic Center on Sunday, May 29, 2005 for the Winthrop High School Ramblers Junior/Senior Prom. On Friday, June 3, 2005 he crossed the border into Canada for a performance at the Aroostook County Country Club for Fort Fairfield High School's Junior/Senior Prom. On Saturday, July 30, 2005 he rocked Jeff's Catering in Brewer, Maine performing for Bangor High School's 25th Class Reunion. On August 20, 2005 he delivered a 1-hour nocturnal trance set at 3:30 am at the 15th Annual Hempstock Festival in Starks, Maine.
